Illuminations is DoDDS Europe's Annual Fine Arts e-magazine showcasing some of the best works by DoDDS Europe students. This is the 3rd Volume of the Illuminations e-magazine. Please browse the previous volumes. Links are below.

29 Mar | Vilseck boys rally to salvage split with Hohenfels – Vilseck’s Malachi Alston may want to reconsider which foot he shoots with for the rest of the season. The young soccer star is technically right footed, but you wouldn’t have known it by watching his Falcons take on the visiting Hohenfels Tigers on Saturday. Alston hit a pinpoint accurate shot off his left foot into the corner of the net with minutes to spare, pulling the Falcons even with the Tigers, 2-2.»
15 Feb | Vilseck girls, Patch boys finish on high notes - The Lady Falcons of Vilseck closed out their regular season Saturday with a game that could have been scripted in Hollywood. They were down 16 points against the Patch Panthers, a team they hadn’t been able to defeat all year. Time was ticking down. Victory seemed impossible.>>
22 Jan | Marksmanship team still on target - Sixty-five participants dared to show up for the Commanders' Challenge, a three-shooting position air rifle match hosted by Vilseck High School's 18th JROTC Battalion Marksmanship Team. All but the hosts left empty handed. The 18 teams from across the U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria community competed for bragging rights, but the closest they came was 300 points below the marksmanship team. »
